Audrina Patridge wants to waltz. Unfortunately, she may not be allowed to.Source tells me that The Hills reality star has agreed to compete on the new season of Dancing With the Stars, but the folks over at MTV have apparently shot down her dreams of going after the disco-ball trophy.
"They won't let Audrina do it," one sources. "They told her it would be impossible because of scheduling conflicts."
"Audrina wants to do it. Everyone around her wants her to do it," the source said. "But MTV, for some reason, won't make it happen. Why wouldn't they want someone from The Hills on such a huge show?"
Reps for DWTS and MTV both declined to comment. An official announcement on casting comes Monday on Good Morning America.
We're not sure about Audrina's fancy footwork abilities, but with a body like hers, she seems like a perfect fit for DWTS—at least for the show's skimpy, barely there costumes.
