After debuting red locks at the People's Choice Awards in LA on Wednesday, Khloe Kardashian, 26, continues to be surprised by her own hair makeover.
"I still get taken aback every time I see pics of myself with my new red hair," the reality star wrote on her blog on Tuesday. "I literally didn't recognize myself."
To get the red-hot 'do, Kardashian visited Julie Canales, a colorist at the Goodform of Hollywood Salon in LA. "The inspiration was a picture she had been holding onto," Canales tells Us Magazine.
After making adjustments to complement Kardashian's skin tone, Canales took the shade even redder. "We've added some brighter tones to really make it pop and maintain that fiery glow," she tells Us. "It's been a hit for her family and Lamar."
