Madras High Court stayed the release of Superstar vijay's much waited movie Kavalan directed by siddique due to the case filed by J K Saravanan, proprietor of Tantra films.
He stated,that Romesh (producer Kavalan)had promised overseas rights to him for Rs five crore and took Rs 1.5 crore as advance.But Romesh has now sold the rights to Cinema Paradise.
After hearing the Tantra films the petition, Judge S Rajeswaran stayed the release of Kavalan for the next six weeks.
