Now that she’s back with her ex Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson needs a new ring for their brand new start.

The “Last Kiss” actress was spotted out at a jewelry store in Beverly Hills in search of some new left-hand bling today (November 10).

According to an inside source, Rachel and Hayden just needed a break from their relationship to get some perspective before coming back together.

“They’re dating again. [Before] it just wasn’t working out.” Rachel and Hayden have been spotted out and about together as of late.

Rachel Bilson: Back With Hayden Christensen

After calling off their engagement in August, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are giving their romance another shot.

"They're dating again," a friend of the actress tells PEOPLE.

And they're not hiding, either.

Last week, Christensen was seen leaving Bilson's house in Los Feliz, Calif. With Bilson based in Los Angeles and Christensen living in Canada, distance was reportedly one of the main reasons for the split.

Christensen, 29, and Bilson, 29, met on the set of Jumper in 2007, and got engaged in December 2008.

Settling into the single life, Rachel Bilson was spotted grabbing lunch at a local cafe with a few of her camera-shy gal pals in Los Feliz, California on Thursday (August 12).

Wearing a cute open-shoulder top with a pair of bell-bottom jeans, the "Jumper" cutie filled up on grub before heading off to run a few errands less than a week after announcing her split from former fiance, Hayden Christensen.

Rachel Bilson & Hayden Break Engagement

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have officially ended their relationship, her rep confirms Us Magazine.

"Yes, the engagement is off, therefore, so is the wedding," her rep tells Us.

In June, a source told Us the couple -- who co-starred in the 2008 action flick, Jumper -- were "taking about a month off" to evaluate their relationship. “They’re taking a break,” the insider added.

Around the same time, Bilson flashed a ringless finger to Us on the red carpet of a THQ/Take No Prisoners event in L.A. When asked how wedding plans were going, she said, "No, no plans" and pointed to her bare hand. "No nothing."

Christensen, 29, and Bilson, 28, announced their engagement in February 2009.
