Kendra Wilkinson Talks Being A 'Single Mom'

Kendra Wilkinson's life has been turned upside down ever since husband Hank Baskett was dropped by the Philadelphia Eagles and signed to the Minnesota Vikings. Now, Kendra sits down with Life & Style, to discuss her heart breaking decision to take son, 11-month-old Hank, back to LA--alone.

"Not having Hank around hurts," Kendra tells Life & Style. "Moving across the country by myself makes me think of my own mom who raised me and my brother alone. Hank's not going to be there forever, but with him not physically here, I'm a single parent now."

With Hank so far away, Kendra felt most at home on the West Coast. "I fit in well in Philly, and I could relate to all the people, but the West Coast is my home. This is where all my family and friends are."

Hank's decision to sign with the Minnesota Vikings -- and spend time away from his family-- resulted in a screaming match with his exasperated wife. "It hurt a lot," Kendra tells Life & Style. "When Hank left I felt lonely. He's my everything. Nobody else can really fill that loneliness." She admits there's been a lot of tears throughout this time. "We cry. It's hard, and we aren't ashamed to cry."

But thanks to her family and Hank's, she has a big support system to turn to for help. Still, there's no substitute for being together with her husband. "I'm going to go back to the minus-2-degree weather to spend Thanksgiving, baby Hank's 1st birthday and Christmas in a small one bedroom hotel room with my husband and son. That's all that matters to me."

Kendra & Hank Baskett: 1400 Miles Apart

Kendra Wilkinson’s marriage has survived a sex tape scandal, so how can 1400 miles harm her wedded bliss? Now that her husband, Hank Baskett, has been cut from the Philadelphia Eagles and signed to the Minnesota Vikings, he’s forced to play far away from his wife. So why hasn’t Kendra joined Hank in Minn.?

“The locations have already been cleared (for Kendra’s reality show), and they have story lines to finish,” an insider tells Life & Style. “In Minnesota, they’ll have to get permits. It’s a disaster right now.”

Although their marriage has survived so much, the strain of Hank’s joining his third NFL team and another potential move is taking its toll on the family. “The marriage is still strong, but Kendra and Hank are stressed,” says a second insider.

Regardless of the sudden setback, the E! star IS trying to make the move with her husband. “She wants to go to Minnesota and is desperately trying to get there. Will she make it? It all depends on what her show’s production team can pull off,” the source added.

Well here’s hoping things get worked out soon, because Hank Baskett IV is probably missing having his mommy and daddy time!

Still getting the word out about her new book, Kendra Wilkinson was spotted at Barnes and Noble in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania yesterday (August 31).

The “Girls Next Door” babe looked to be in good spirits as she posed while holding a copy of “Sliding Into Home” for the press.

The former “Girls Next Door” babe looked lovely as she made her exit from the 1st Annual Shane Victorino Foundation All-Star Celebrity Fashion Show at the Union League.

Showing off her playful nature, Jayde Nicole teamed up with Jessica Hall for promotional efforts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday night (February 13).

The two lovely ladies hit up the G Lounge to celebrates its two year anniversary with a fete sponsored by Playboy Energy Drinkand Azunia Tequila.

During the course of the night, Jayde and Jessica tossed on sexy red lingerie outfits as they grabbed up seats in a booth to signs autographs and greet fans.

Tweeting before the party, Jayde wrote, “In Philly.. OMG its cold!! Can’t wait to get in my lingerie w/ @JessicaHallPBR tonight at the G lounge for a playboy energy drink party!”

Having since flown back home to the west coast, Miss Nicole later wrote, “So glad to be home! Cuddled in bed w/ Pumpkin watching the Simpsons. Good night everyone xox.”
