Audrina Patridge: Los Angeles Marathon

Kicking off her day with a frozen treat, Audrina Patridge was spotted at the Los Angeles Marathon yesterday morning (March 21).

The “Hills” babe looked to be in good spirits as she pranced around the event in a yellow t-shirt and checkered skirt.

Miss Patridge was in the house to raise money and awareness for The Sunshine Kids charity, dedicated to children with cancer.

Audrina even ran the last two miles of the 26.2-mile course to show her support for the brave boys and girls dealing with cancer issues.

Extra! The Sunshine Kids Marathon Sunday!

Can't wait to run the marathon this Sunday! Thank you to everyone who's donated! I'm so grateful for all your generosity and warm comments! If you haven't heard yet, this Sunday, I will be participating in the LA Marathon on behalf of the Sunshine Kids! I never ran a marathon before! Luckily, I'll be running with my newfound friend Morgan Heflin! The Marathon will benefit the Sunshine Kids a non-profit organization that adds quality of life to children ages 4 to 18 who battle cancer on a daily basis.

Audrina's Blog: The Sunshine Kids Foundation LA

Hey guys!

I wanted to shed some light on The Sunshine Kids Foundation, an organization that adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with positive, exciting group activities such as attending sporting events, visiting theme parks and taking trips all over the country. I recently got the opportunity to work with the Sunshine Kids at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and was blown away by their courage and joy...even through such hardships. I'm excited to become a larger part of their organization, and I'm going to do everything in my power to brighten these kids' lives!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce you guys to my new friend Morgan. Morgan is a student at UCLA, where she is studying to be an oncology nurse (though a serious fashionista). She survived Hodgkin's Lymphoma, now a year in remission. Together, we are going to run a mile during the LA Marathon on March 21 to raise money for The Sunshine Kids.
