Heidi & Spencer Pratt: We Are Bankrupt 'Idiots'

http://www.celebrity-gossip.net/sites/default/files/imagecache/fullsize_image/images/s/speidi-103010-6.jpg
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are apparently dead broke and living at Spencer's parents house.

In the new issue of Life & Style magazine, the worlds most annoying couple admits they blew through $10 million dollars.

After spending $35,000 per month on rent for their Malibu pad, $3 million on Heidi’s "music career," renting studios and paying producers, spending hundreds of thousands on Heidi’s surgeries and aftercare, six cars, healing crystals and private jets the fame hungry couple now owe $2 million in taxes, are considering filing for bankruptcy and are homeless.

“We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part,” Spencer tells Life & Style. “In hindsight, we shouldn’t have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved.” Spencer continues, ““We spoke with a bankruptcy attorney and I’ve looked into unemployment checks.”

He added, “We thought The Hills was going to be like 90210 and we’d have another five to 10 years,” Spencer says. “The ratings were consistent. But we never saw Jersey Shore coming. Before, TV audiences were fine with seeing us all argue, but now they want you to punch one another in the face and hook up with three different people. Our cast was a bit boring and snoozeworthy in comparison. No wonder we got canceled.”

Spencer claims they're now living at his parent’s house in their guesthouse—a studio apartment. “My parents are my lifeline.” And for once, his statements aren’t an exaggeration. “Spencer’s parents go to the grocery store for us once a week and that’s all we get.”

Sounds hard to believe that someone can blow through $10 mil, but Heidi's so called music career was definitely a bad move. Spending half a million on crystals wasn't a bright idea, and Heidi's shoe and handbag collection would have sent anyone into bankruptcy.

Sadly no one even cares about these two anymore. After all the surgeries, fake breakup and non stop publicity, we're just over Speidi. And in case you're wondering, they didn't even get the cover for their sad story, they just got a small picture on the side.

Audrina Considers Being Snooki For Halloween

As Halloween approaches, everyone in Hollywood is trying to plan out their costume and there is one that stands out among the others.

Stars like former ‘Hills’ cast member Audrina Patridge are considering dressing up as ‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, reports MTV. “Snooki’s probably the most distinctive,” Patridge said about the possible costume.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant will definitely have to work on her tan and hair height for the get-up.

Stephanie Pratt 'Could Fit In' With 'Jersey Shore'

Earlier this month that the world bid a fond farewell to "The Hills." But before the cast rode off into reality-TV history, they passed on some advice to the "Jersey Shore" cast, who are set to kick off their second season tonight. And like her co-stars, "Hills" gal Stephanie Pratt was such a fan she told us she'd love to "fit in" with the "Shore" gang.

When we caught up with Stephanie Pratt recently, she gushed, "We met them! Lo and I met them at the MTV Movie Awards and Pauly D was definitely the nicest. [Snooki's] little too. She's really tiny!

"I used to watch it at Lo's house," Pratt revealed of her "JS" viewing habits. "I would go over to Lo's and if nothing was on, we'd go over to the TiVo, so I saw most of the episodes at her house and I really enjoyed it."

For Pratt, the show was an education in the ways of East Coasters. "I'm such a West Coast person, I didn't even know what lacrosse was," she said. "I'm just so clueless about the East Coast so Jersey's just like a whole other world to me."

So what were her biggest lessons?

"I realized there's no place like Jersey and they love long nails, fake tans and the gym and teasing their hair. I feel like I could do it," she added. "I really like big hair also! I think I could fit in there for a couple days!"

Lauren: Life After Reality TV "Less Stressful"

Former reality TV starlet Lauren Conrad said last night that life after the "Hills" has been much more care-free than her days in the searing spotlight.

"It is a lot less stressful," she said during a Miami book signing Wednesday night. "You don't have to worry so much about the way you look or what you're wearing or what you're saying. You can breathe. ... I have time to do a lot of stuff that I couldn't do before."

Conrad offered a glimpse into her life off the small screen during a tween-packed signing at Books & Books last night for her new tome "Sweet Little Lies," a follow-up to New York Times-bestseller "LA Candy," which is loosely based on her life.

But don't expect Conrad to use her books as a way to dish on all the juicy details that went on behind the scenes.

"I think the main difference between my life and the books I write are that I made up people and I made up situations," she said

"I got to have fun with it, and, in a way, tell a similar story as far as things you go through and things you experience and what's it's like -- without spilling other secrets."

Even as other MTV reality shows such as "Jersey Shore" enjoy success, Lauren appears to be enjoying a somewhat low-key life in which she now has time to work on creating a clothing line and spend vacation time with her boyfriend, "My Boys" star Kyle Howard.

But what if MTV conjured up a "Hills" meets "Shore" spin-off?

"No, but I would watch it," she said.

Lauren Conrad OK! Magazine Interview

Although she may have fled from the Hills to pursue other ventures, Lauren Conrad hasn’t extinguished her love for MTV as the starlet now tunes into Jersey Shore for her fix of reality TV.

“No. I haven’t seen it since I left,” Lauren speaks of her former reality show the Hills while out at the Keri Feinstein Golden Globe Style Villa, “But I watch ‘Jersey Shore’ so I am still supporting MTV.”

“Last night was the highlight, it was a double episode. There was two! There’s this one part where Ronnie hits a guy and they don’t really get the hit… Ronnie knocks him out,” Lauren gushes of her new TV obsession to reporters.

And with fans swooning over Jersey Shore characters such as Snookie and Mike "The Situation," Lauren tells reporters, “I really like J Wow because she can throw a punch!”

But the L.A. Candy author is keeping herself very busy asides from her weekly reality fix as she gets set to celebrate her upcoming 23rd birthday.

“I’m going to do a birthday party on the 30th over at the Roosevelt,” Lauren explains her plans for a celebration although she won’t be as busy with her boyfriend Kyle Howard on Valentine’s Day.

“I usually don’t make plans for Valentines Day. It’s so forced. I would rather get a sweet surprise on a Tuesday and reservations are impossible,” Lauren tells OK! on Friday.

Heidi Montag Loves Her Sexy New Songs

'The Hills' star Heidi Montag made waves with her first ever vocal performance at last year's Miss Universe pageant, even earning a passionately scornful review on CNN - a review that the singer adored. Montag told us exclusively in August, "I am so incredibly flattered that [Anderson Cooper] is talking about me." We spoke again to the female half of dynamic reality duo Speidi for this week's release of her full-length debut, 'Superficial'. Montag explains how her naughty lyrics get her going, why girls shouldn't make out with each other to catch a boy's eye - and which team she picks in the Leno/Conan debacle. Listen to a track from Montag's CD, and check out the interview after the jump.

On recording 'Superficial': "I put all the money that I had into this. I started out independently. It took me three years - albums nowadays take a month, they rush them and put them out, but I really wanted to go back to the days of the Beatles and the days of Elvis, and Michael Jackson, when they used to spend years on their albums, 'cause they wanted the quality to be so great. So the listener gets the best quality possible. Because I did it independently, I learned so much more. I wanted to go through it and experience the entire music industry."

"Most singers are just handed the song and they sing it and put it on their album. I was there with the lyrics, I was there with the mixing and the mastering - so many behind-the-scenes processes that a lot of singers don't even know go into their albums. I was very hands-on with every single detail of my album. I paid for all of it, so ... I put my life and soul and everything into it. I'm just excited for people to hear it. It's such a blessing."

"I've been called superficial, and that's not who I am - that's just the surface, it's just the beginning of who I am. For me, [the album title] is kind of a double entendre, and it's more about... you're just seeing the surface, and you don't know much about me."

On the Heidi Montag sound: "This is music of the future. This is the 2010 sound. Britney's voice, everybody's voice, is starting to me more of that autotune-y kind of sound, but a lot of my songs don't have that. Some of them do and some of them don't - it's just more fun. All my music has so much love in it and so much fun ... The most important thing to me is that people feel good when they listen to it ... There's so much darkness in the world right now, I just wanted to bring some light and some fun into it."

On kids today: "I think there's a lot of girls out there now [experimenting sexually just to get attention], and I would say that might be ... a bad influence. If that's real and that's how you feel, that's great, but not when it's just for attention ... it's very sad to me, it really breaks my heart, because I didn't grow up that way. It's very disheartening to me. [Any one woman] should be sexier than ten women making out. I feel more powerful than if I were making out with ten women, just kissing my husband once, because I'm secure and confident ... You should only do things that you want. Teenage girls don't need to do that just to get a guy's attention. There are other ways ... the pressures to be [sexually adventurous] just for attention are unfair to women. I think it's a step back in female empowerment. It makes them... toys. These are real women with real emotions."

"My point in these songs - you don't have to be that way. You don't have to be the way society wants you to be. You're a strong female, whoever you are. Its your light inside that counts, and that's what's going to attract whatever you want in the world and whoever you want in the world."

On her sexy lyrics... like "Come eat my panties off of me": "I love it. I'm a very sexual person and I'm married, so it's okay. I think every woman ... has an alter ego. We all have that really sexual, fun side. I just thought the lyrics were so fun and so sexy. They empower women. That song, when my friends hear it, they feel sexier. They have more fun, because the song is like, 'I'll do whatever you want, but I'm still kind of in charge here.' The lyrics are definitely a little edgy - and I'm sorry to the little girls - but I am married. Eat the panties off when you're married."

On 'The Hills' vs. 'Jersey Shore: "'The Hills' and 'Jersey Shore' could never be compared - first of all, 'The Hills' is in LA. I truly enjoy it, I think it's entertainment. I like the show a lot. I think the 'The Hills' is just picking up again. I think it's a whole new era."

"[Jersey Shore] has definitely taken reality to a while new level. I've never seen a girl get punched - I've never even seen a catfight. I felt very bad for it, but these people are very entertaining and it seems like they all have great hearts. Good for them. I could definitely see it being on for a few seasons, and I hope for them it does spin off into bigger careers."

On whom she prefers - Jay Leno or Conan O'Brien: "They were both extremely polite to me. They both came in and said hi several times. My only thing I would say is that Leno's audience was a lot nicer than Conan's. The guys are both unbelievable entertainers, they're both very funny, they're both incredible at what they've done - I would say congratulations to both of them for even being in it this long. I'm team both of them. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating when I was on their shows."

Kristin Cavallari: I'm "Jealous" of Jersey Shore!

Good bye, Hills. Hello, Jersey Shore?

"I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of jealous," Kristin Cavallari told UsMagazine.com when asked about the new hit MTV show at her 23rd birthday party Saturday at Beso, Eva Longoria Parker's Las Vegas restaurant that connects with her nightclub, Eve.

Jersey Shore's Jan. 7 show had its highest ratings ever -- more than 3.2 million viewers. (In comparison, ratings for The Hills ratings have dropped significantly: 1.72 million viewers tuned in to the October season 5 finale; 2.6 million viewers watched the season 4 finale.)

Cavallari's favorite character? "The Situation," she told Us. "I mean, come on, right?"

She said she'd even date a guido. "Maybe, if I liked him," she told Us. "I mean, if I was attracted to him, absolutely."

Kristin Cavallari: Lovely in Los Angeles

Making her way around town ahead of the New Year’s holiday, Kristin Cavallari was spotted out in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (December 29).

The MTV reality star looked stylishly sporty in a grey top and black leggings as she hit up the gym for a workout before heading over to a nearby medical building for a scheduled appointment.

Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Cavallari and her co-stars on “The Hills” have received a bit of a challenge from the cast of “Jersey Shore”.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro tells of “The Hills” gang, “I’m not crazy about them. We’re doing better than them right now, so they’re really not that big of a deal. It would be awesome to do The Hills versus Jersey Shore, like Real World/Road Rules Challenge. We would torture them!”

Audrina Asked About Jersey Shore's Snookie

December 19, 2009: We spotted Audrina Patridge and her entourage at Wonderland nightclub on Saturday night. When asked who would win in a wrestling match between her and Jersey Shore's Snooki, Audrina said that she hadn't seen the show yet so she couldn't really say.
