OMG! Russell Brand is in some major trouble after this one!
The sexy British comedian thought it'd be funny to share a Twitpic of new wife Katy Perry with a naked face, but unfortunately it was removed just as fast as it was posted. Was the usually glammed-up Teenage Dream singer completely ticked off? It definitely looks like she was just Waking Up in Vegas!
The usually glammed up singer is getting ready to kick off her European California Dreams tour in February, so she's probably just enjoying a nice break from all the heavy make-up she has to wear on stage.
Don't be embarrassed, Katy. We all have make-up free pictures out there somewhere!
Enjoying some time together in New York City, Katy Perry and Russell Brand were spotted at a Le Cirque show on Thursday night (December 23).
The “California Gurls” babe looked excited as she smiled for pictures while her “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” hubby looked a bit put off by the candid photo op.
Putting in her two cents on what type of holiday tunes she enjoys, Katy recently tweeted, “Christmas songs are better when Elvis sings em.”
And for the third week in a row, Perry’s latest hit song “Firework” is sitting pretty at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles.
Deciding to go against the grain this year, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have opted against engaging in the common practice of giving one other Christmas presents.
The “Firework” singer and the “Get Him to the Greek” actor have said that they want to focus on creating “an experience” for their first holiday season as husband and wife.
Perry explained, "Honestly, we're not doing presents this year because we're going to do an experience instead. My whole life has been an experience, especially in these past few years and this year in particular."
She went on to say that she plans to donate some of her clothes to charity to help out those in need over the holiday season.
The honeymoon isn't over for Katy Perry and Russell Brand!
After exchanging vows with the British comic in October, the 26-year-old "Firework" singer says things are hotter than ever in the bedroom.
"I have secrets and magic tricks, of course. I can't share them because then you'd all know," Perry tells the new issue of Grazia (on sale now). "But let's just say I'm not shy."
The newlywed admits that despite how it may appear, her marriage to Brand, 35, is far from perfect.
"We're both busy, but this is a huge part of my life. I call the shots on my schedule," Perry says. "There are weekends for Russ and weekends for me and my friends. Neither of us ever wants to lose ourself or the other in fame."
Perry tells the magazine that she "absolutely" plans to have "lots of children" with Brand in the future -- but for now, she's focused on enjoying her first year as a married woman.
"Every day he amazes me," she gushes. "He makes me laugh like no one else. We are each other's perfect match."
Katy Perry isn't shy about showing some skin – just don't expect her to bare all.
"I like to play [the sexy] card because it's fun and definitely in my deck, but I like to tease," Perry says in the December issue of British Cosmopolitan. "I'm like a burlesque girl. I definitely won't be doing a Playboy spread, but I will be doing a kind of Dita Von Teese style."
Being married to Russell Brand is what, Perry says, makes her feel unconditionally sexy.
"I'm confident in my skin I guess, lately," she explains. "I think that when you're in a supportive relationship, you don't care anymore about outside. Things that may have irked you before don't matter because you found someone who loves you no matter what."
Adds Perry, "I guess it's a mixture of, 'Hey, I'm 26, and I know these are my prime years and I feel confident,' and being loved-up."
She's fresh off of getting married to comedian Russell Brand, and Katy Perry is now featured on the December 2010 cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine.
In the interview, the "Thinking of You" singer talks about being Mrs. Brand, her risqué style, body image, and more while having partaken in a glamorous photo shoot accompanying the spread.
On her husband, Russell Brand, and his spiritual quest, Katy tells, “I always knew I wanted a great man of God, someone who was going to be an inspiration for people and also be a lovely husband and father. We’re at different places in our lives, but we can still grow together. He’s thought-provoking, articulate, a real advocate. I also definitely wanted to have a laugh. I have all that in him.”
As for being part of a new generation of pop stars including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Fergie, Perry dishes, “We’re all unique. That’s why we all win and we all can exist. People don’t want just vanilla. They want 31 flavors. I couldn’t do what Rihanna does. I couldn’t do what Gaga does. They can’t do what I do.”
Also touching on her image, Perry dishes, “I’m kind of a good girl—and I’m not,” she says. “I’m a good girl because I really believe in love, integrity, and respect. I’m a bad girl because I like to tease. I know that I have sex appeal in my deck of cards. But I like to get people thinking. That’s what the stories in my music do.”
The VMAs always bring out the biggest stars, and last night the Hills cast were there in droves, with everyone -- except Spencer, Heidi, and Audrina -- getting in on the Radio City action.
And with everyone from Lauren Conrad to Stacie Hall on hand to witness Kanye's mic-snatching move with Taylor Swift, the pre-show action was almost as sweet as Russell Brand's one-liners.
